They Called Me Nellie by Evan Goebel

Synopsis

The world premiere of a work by Oklahoma City University student Evan Goebel. Based upon the real life of Nellie Bly, "They Called Me Nellie" stages the groundbreaking work of Bly's undercover investigation into Blackwell's Island asylum—a daring move that shed light on the horrific abuse of asylum patients and led to nationwide institutional reforms.
